This course is brought by Dr. Lynne Kenney, the nation’s leading pediatric psychologist in the development of classroom cognitive-physical activity programs for students grades K-8.
Each module of the course has a video and a pdf of the slides.
Also, it offers supplemental reading and videos specially curated to support your learning.
Course content includes education reports, ebooks, and activity programs.
After completing this course you will be better trained to enhance joy in children while they are building their cognitive and motor skills.

Describe the science supporting the value of improving executive function skills in children ages 5-17
Assess the importance of stress, emotional and physical safety in creating equitable learning environments for children and adolescents.
Identify the cognitive, motor, and language precursors shown to improve the trajectory of student achievement.
Compare evidence-based methods for assessing and strengthening executive function skills.
Assess research-supported methods to improve attention, working memory, self-regulation, and cognitive flexibility in children ages 5-17.
Design cognitive-movement activities to stimulate attention, working memory, and self-regulation for use in treatment clinics and classrooms.
Compare the co-morbidity rates of neurodevelopmental diagnoses to better assess and intervene in the treatment of children ages 5-17.
Demonstrate rhythmic vestibular, visual-tracking, and proprioceptive activities to support learning and engagement.
Assess the utility of published cognitive-motor physical activity programs in the treatment of dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, and developmental coordination disorder.
Demonstrate the implementation of cognitive skill development activities.
Apply brain priming activities to prepare students to actively participate in classroom academic lessons.
Compare evidence-based methods in the treatment of dyslexia.

Dr. Lynne Kenney is the nation’s leading pediatric psychologist in the development of classroom cognitive-physical activity programs for students grades K-8. Dr. Kenney develops curriculum, programming, and activities to improve children’s cognition through coordinative cognitive-motor movement, executive function skill-building strategies, and social-emotional learning.
